1) How long will it take to clean my carpet?
It will take approx 1 hour to clean 400 square feet of carpet. If you have heavy soiling, or we clean any upholstery, it may take a bit longer. We can let you know the time for cleaning when we first arrive and are in the estimating process

2) Do I have to be there?
We love to meet our clients, discuss any cleaning concerns and estimate the clean for you when we arrive. But sometimes we know you cannot be there. We clean for many part time residents and are experienced in this.

3) How long does it take to dry?
Your carpet will be wet to the touch when first cleaned. After the first 3-4 hours, it will be reduced to damp feel. But it will be 10-24 hours before it is 100% dry.

4) How much will it cost?
Cost is determined by the square feet for carpet. Please see our price guideline under “Rates” for a price quote. We can also provide you an estimate at no charge.

5) How can I pay for the clean?
Payment is usually required when the clean is completed. You can pay our technicians with a Check, Cash, or they can also take Visa MC Amex from you. In the event that you will not be there, we can take a credit card over the phone and we will send you the receipt showing you are paid in full.

6) Are you licensed & Insured?
We are fully licensed and insured. We also are a member of the Breckenridge Resort Chamber, The Summit County Chamber, the PCUCA, RIA, IICRC, WLS, among memberships.

7) I had my carpet cleaned by another company last year and the carpet was stiff afterward, what causes this?
When the carpet is not completely rinsed, a soapy residue can remain, causing it to appear stiff. Mountain Pride uses a Clean Rinse formula to ensure the carpet is rinsed, and extracted properly.

8) My carpet is wool, is there a different price for cleaning wool carpet?
There is no price difference for cleaning wool carpet vs. synthetic. However, our technicians are careful to clean the wool carpet with a lower water temperature to eliminate any shrinkage. If you have wool carpet, please inform us at the time of booking.

9) My carpet is very dirty, will it clean up or should we replace it?
In most cases, carpet cleans up very well. Our top notch cleaning procedures & techniques can exceed expectations on a regular basis. However, many stains can be permanent. If your carpet has any matting, or heavy wear we would discuss this with you.

10) Can I walk on my carpet while it is wet?
Yes!

11) I have several pets; there are some pet stains and some odors. Will cleaning remove all of these?
Pet stains can be tough. There is acid in these that can set into the carpet & become permanent. In many cases, we can remove these. Some cases though, we can reduce it, but not remove it 100%. Be assured, that when we are finished treating the spots, the carpet will be left sanitized and free of harmful bacteria left from pet accidents.

12) How is my carpet measured?
All carpet is measured Wall to Wall. This ensures an accurate measurement in our system at all times. The price per square foot varies depending on the type of clean, with a discount if we don’t move all the furniture.

13) Will you move my furniture?
Yes! We will move your future and clean underneath if you choose to have a full clean. We will place protective tabs underneath to prevent stains that can occur when furniture is places on wet carpet. Keep in mind that some pieces we cannot move, ie. King beds, bunk beds, and heavy armoires.
